There’s a lot of buzz around actor, producer, and director Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter, Saiee, who’s making her acting debut opposite Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg 3’. The newbie is all praise for her father, who advised her that she has to make her presence felt by working hard. She also wants to follow in his footsteps in doing Marathi films as well. Saiee recalls her first brush with films began with a Marathi film, ‘Kaksparsh’, which also starred her father. She was six-years-old and started crying when she had to face the camera.
While talking about her father’s work in an interview with a daily, Saiee listed ‘Vastav’ and ‘Astitva’ as her favourites. She also adds that she’s glad that her father did not launch her or people would have said that she got it all on a platter. She said that she auditioned for the role in ‘Dabangg 3’ and has worked hard on it.
The actress hopes to work with Salman Khan again. The other actors on her wishlist includes Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kartik Aaryan, too.
